Structural needs turn into the project's muse and offer spatial richness.
Spanning between the street and a generous garden with an open view, the apartments are organized between simple, loadbearing brick walls. To provide lateral stability, the walls are divided into segments oriented in different directions, allowing them to function as bracing elements. These segments are connected through curved brickwork, introducing spatial fluidity and continuity within the apartments. Timber beams span across the structure, tying the walls together and serving as an efficient, low-carbon alternative to a traditional concrete floor slab.
